Hello friends, I’m glad you’re here! I’m a California girl, born and raised. I live in the Santa Cruz mountains with my husband, Fritz, and our two sweet pups, Pixie and Delilah; they’re my life! Our two girls have flown the coop, but we still have a few chicks in our real coop;) We also call Nevada home.
My journey as a photographer was an evolution of my work in floral design. As a Floral Designer in the high-end wedding world I saw what was needed on a fast-paced day. I learned the importance of efficiency and grace under pressure. Things don’t always go as planned! When the unexpected arises I don’t focus on the blocked avenue, I go around it. And, sometimes the end result is better than anything you could have imagined! Being flexible is key. As a designer trained in proportion, perspective and function, I notice how everything looks and works together...what poses work for you and your group, what looks natural and graceful, what looks forced. I’ve already thought about your setting, your attire, your details, and how they will be styled...nothing is left to chance.

Favorite part of my job:
Exploring new places, linen shirts, lavender soap, museums, daffodils, anything plaid, dark chocolate, a double cappuccino in a big bowl with sugar and cinnamon on top!
My Favorite things:
Reading! It’s what I look forward to at the end of a long day! Travel--trips of any kind...road trips, river trips, camping trips. Cross country skiing. Editing photos (yes, I love that)! Playing the piano. Working outside.
Favorite things to do:
London, Amsterdam, Vienna, Florence, probably in that order. For me, the destination is always about the most inspiring art museums.
My favorite cities:
I’m a perfectionist. I will never leave anything unfinished. I will never let you down.

My personal motto:
I take my time with each photo I select--making sure that it is as perfect (and realistic) as can be. I don’t send out your photos for editing, or batch edit. I look for small details that can detract from the overall image. I pay attention to composition and proportion in cropping. Quality is more important than quantity. I make sure your gallery is curated and consistent. And, do you look absolutely radiant and glowing? You bet!
